Gretton Primary Academy awarded sports equipment

Gretton Primary Academy has been awarded a Premier League Primary Stars kit and equipment pack after Principal Mrs Jane MacDonald applied for kit after seeing it advertised on TV.

Gretton Primary Academy has been awarded a Premier League Primary Stars kit and equipment pack after Principal Mrs Jane MacDonald applied for kit after seeing it advertised on TV.

The pack features a range of equipment such as football goals, cones, bibs, hula-hoops, large dice, running equipment and so much more that can be used across different curriculum areas to help encourage children to become more active.

PE coordinator Sarah Phillips said 'The children have already been busy organisation where the equipments needs to go and the football team are really excited to try out all the new kit in their training sessions.'Mrs MacDonald said ‘The equipment will be used in PE lessons, at break times and after-school sports clubs.

‘We are really pleased to have received the free sports equipment which will enhance our Sports and PE provision here at Gretton school. Thank you to premier League stars for supporting Sport in Primary schools in this way.

The Kit and Equipment Scheme forms part of the Premier League Primary Stars offer to primary schools in England and Wales. The curriculum-linked education programme uses the appeal of the Premier League and its clubs to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills.
