How much we received and how we spent it
For the financial year 2011/2012 Gretton Primary Academy received £2580 for 6 eligible children and spent it in the following ways:
To help fund teaching assistants to offer additional support for those children on free school meals to enable them to reach their potential, for example one-to-one and small group interventions.
To help with funding of our Learning Mentor to support pupils and help them overcome any barriers to learning resulting from their deprivation.
To source additional classroom resources to help support the pupils learning in the classroom.
To help fund school trips or any other extra-curricular activities, such as theatre workshops, to help boost learning.
Impact of Pupil premium spending 2011-2012
Children in the year 6 cohort of 2011-2012 who were eligible for Pupil Premium all attained the age related expectations of level 4 in all of their SATs.
Children eligible for Pupil Premium in other cohorts have all made above 3 points progress (average expected progress) in writing over the year
