On Wednesday, 40 children from KS2 represented Gretton Primary at Welland Valley Sports at Rockingham Triangle. Every child took part in four events: a short distance sprint, a long distance run, a throwing event and a standing long jump. The children were fantastic and we had lots of individual 1st, 2nd and 3rd places! As a school, we came 2nd and 4th for the Y3/4 team and 6th and 8th for the Y5/6 team. As always, Gretton shone out for their excellent sportsmanship and behaviour!
