50 adventures before Year 7 - building memories, skills, and confidence through fun, hands-on experiences!

At Gretton Primary Academy, we want every child to leave Year 6 with a backpack full of memories, skills, and experiences that will stay with them for life. That’s why we’ve created “50 B4 Y7”—a collection of 50 exciting experiences we believe every child should enjoy before moving on to secondary school.

The experience focus on four areas:

• Arts, culture and heritage 

• Appreciation of nature 

• Physical/ practical skills 

• Contributing to society 

Each year, children tick off a few more adventures, filling their special “50 B4 Y7” book with memories, photos, and reflections. By the time they leave us, they’ll have a rich story of discovery, challenge, and fun to take with them on their next journey.
