School Lunches

At Gretton Primary Academy, we’re proud to serve high-quality school lunches that are freshly prepared in our own kitchen every day. Our dedicated kitchen team creates nutritious, balanced meals that children love—fueling their learning and keeping them energised throughout the day. With a variety of tasty options on offer, there’s something to suit every appetite, and we’re always mindful of dietary needs and preferences. 

Packed Lunches

Children are very welcome to bring a packed lunch to school, and we kindly ask that lunchboxes are filled with healthy, balanced choices. To help promote good habits, we encourage families to avoid including crisps and sweets. Our Eco-Council is also passionate about reducing waste, so we’d love your support in keeping packaging to a minimum—reusable containers are a great option! Any uneaten food will be sent home so you can see exactly what your child has eaten during the day.

Free School Meals

Under the government’s Universal Infant Free School Meals offer, every child from Reception to Year 2 is entitled to a free school lunch.  In addition, any child in receipt of the Pupil Premium is entitled to free school meals.

Ordering Lunches

Please ensure that you place your meal orders on WisePay by Wednesday night, for the following week. This system is automated and the school are unable to add meals after the cut off date.

• A meal will only be provided for your child if you have ordered one.
• Please remember to cancel any meals if your child is attending a school trip.
