Senior Leadership Team

Julia Dickinson completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Manchester before undertaking a PGCE in Primary Education at London Metropolitan University.  Julia started her teaching career in the London Borough of Wandsworth in 2005, moving to work as part of the Brooke Weston Trust in 2014.  During her years in the classroom, Julia has taught across the primary phase largely concentrating on Year 4, 5 and 6. 

Julia has successfully completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) and is currently working on the qualification for Executive Leadership.  After 4 years as the Vice Principal at Beanfield Primary School, also part of the Brooke Weston Trust, Julia took up her role as Principal at Gretton Primary Academy in September 2022.  Julia also works with the Northamptonshire Teaching School Hub as Teacher Educator, facilitating Teach First training for ECT mentors.
